I see this problem on today's linux and windows builds (20000214m14)
1. Install and launch the browser
2. On windows, type 'c:\' in Location Box to view local file listing
3. If the listing does not appear, minimize and maximize the window.(known
problem)
4. Once the file listing appears, select the File->Print menu option.
5. Observe that a blank page prints.
Same thing happens on linux also.

What was the last build we could print file listings. Did any build last week
work?

Web directories do print, this seems to be a local disk issue.

It seems that on a local disk (typing 'c:\') generates a tree widget to display
the directory (which does not work). Printing this just prints out the header
(top line). I don't know much about the tree widget so I will give this to
Hyatt to investigate why tree widgets don't print.

It has never been a feature requirement that trees would be printable.
Futuring.

There's some interesting discussion on bug 66247 about how trees should print:
should they scale each column down (and risk cutting off a lot of information),
allow rows to expand and wrap data within rows, or use a different format
altogether when printing?

Hmm, would this qualify as 4xp, since in NS4 you could
print local directory listings, but in Mozilla you can't?
"Enable html directory listing" apparently only applies
to remote directories -- for local ones I'm always getting
the tree widget (bug?).
I don't know if printing directory listings itself is a
feature requirement, but when some random asks me how to
print a directory in Windows, NS4 is the quickest and
easiest.

Nominating 4xp and mozilla1.0
I'll find this feature very useful in Ns4 and it will give mozilla another edge
over MSIE. (Printing local directories that is...)
