User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Color coding of addresses / aliases in the compose window From: dropdown menu would greatly improve my chances of composing with the intended address. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. ignore mail account with current focus 2. choose 'write' 3. compose and send with unintended address defaulted into the From: field Trust me. Everyone would love it.

Whereas color coding sounds like a great idea, it may be a little over the top. I have a simple request: In the compose mail window's from field there is the name of the Sender and the account name. It is possible to select different accounts. Usually I have the same name but use different accounts but I cannot see the account name because the background color of the field is dark blue and the text of the account name is black. The senders name is white so it is visible, so why not the account name too. It is so annoying that I have to squint to read it and to be sure I'm sending from the right account I usually have to click on the from field so that it becomes white background temporarily.

Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts.
