If top message (in thread) is opened (read) by double mouse clicking, thread 
remains expanded, as it should.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sort message pane by thread.
2. Expand thread.
3. Open top message (of a thread) with Enter key

Actual Results:  
The thread is collapsed.

Expected Results:  
The thread should remain expanded.
Confirmed on debian linux in thunderbird 1.0.6 (but does not really annoy me).
This is a very old bug that has existed since and still exists in Mozilla Mail.

I assume it occurs on all builds of Thunderbird and Mozilla Mail; the OSes I
have experienced it on are: Windows 98SE, Windows XP, Linux (Gentoo).
