FEATURE REQUEST:
This is similar to this bug (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?
id=128812) but not quite the same. Most calendar programs minimize to the TRAY 
or act as "services" to kick reminders/alarms but not be in the way of the user.

This would make sense for this app as well - since although it is a vital 
scheduling tool, it's accessed rarely during the day.

i don't see the difference between this bug and bug 128812. What different here?
It really is the same.
