I.first.noticied.this.in.my.mail.compose,when.I.could'nt.put.a.space.in the.subject.line. now.I'm.getting.the.same.problem.in.bugzilla. as.you.can.see.

I see this, too. I'm looking into it now.

Looks like this is due to saari's change to nsXULKeyListener.cpp. If I back out that checkin, I can type spaces again. Investigating further to see if I can find out exactly what went wrong.
