I see this, too.  I'm looking into it now.
Oops, meant to take over from Simon, at least temporarily.

Looks like this is due to saari's change to nsXULKeyListener.cpp.  If I back out
that checkin, I can type spaces again.  Investigating further to see if I can
find out exactly what went wrong.

I've checked in a fix, suggested by Hyatt.  Assigning to saari to review the fix
and make sure it doesn't break his earlier fix.
