Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: I wanted to copy the entries from one list into another. Cut & paste of multiple entries does not work, forcing me to copy each entry of the list individually --- a major pain. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a mailing list with multiple entries 2.Create a new mailing list 3.Try to cut & paste entries from the first list to the new list Actual Results: Cut & paste would not select multiple entries Expected Results: Allow cut & paste of multiple entries

I absolutely agree; you can see my post about this here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=57534&highlight= In breif, the interface should facilitate cutting and pasting of more than one email address at a time. MS Outlook's UI allows for this. The closest non-mail analogue I can think of is a 'mail merge' in MS Word, and that too allows a user to cut and paste more than one address from a given list. A simple workaround might be allowing a user to save a complete message (not just text but header also) to .txt format, and allowing a user to open/compose a new message from .txt - but since you guys are the wizards, I'm sure you can think of a better solution.

(In reply to comment #0) >... > Actual Results: > Cut & paste would not select multiple entries in fact c&p cannot select even a single entry. the workaround is drag and drop one or more entries from one mailing list to another mailing list (or from address book). I.E. 1. expand an address book to display the mailing lists in the leftmost panel 2. click mailing list A 3. select an address in the right panel (the addresses in the mailing list) 4. go to a different address and use ctrl-click or shift-click to select multiple addresses 5. drag the addresses to a mailing list B WFM TB version 1.0+ (20050809)
