Attached patch first cut provider patch, v1 (obsolete) β€” β€” Splinter Review
This is a first cut of interface changes, core code changes, Lightning changes,
and implementation of calStorageProviderService. If you guys could give this a
quick once-over before I go port various parts of this patch to Sunbird and the
other providers, I'd appreciate it.

Dan, the patch in this bug is already three months old. Is it ready for reviews
or is this just a work in progress?
*** Bug 292143 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
sipaq: this is a work in progress.
jminta has pointed out that it's not entirely clear that calICalendarProvider needs to be separate from calICalendar. We should make a decision on that before moving forward.

What's next for this bug? Should it be closed, morphed, or something altogether different?
This bug should be fixed, simple as that.

For example: http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/calendar/base/src/calCalendarManager.js#425 does not use the calICalendarProvider interface.
Severity: normal → S3
