Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird version 1.0.6 (20050716)

Thunderbird should also have a Calendar with which one can add appointments and
reminders (with time alerts) to. While in Thunderbird, if it is time to be
reminded of an appointment or reminder, an alert window should pop up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
None. There is no Calendar included with Mozilla Thunderbird.

Well my point is that it should be included with Mozilla Thunderbird. People
who use software and computers at work will be VERY likely to use the same at
home. Software that wins businesses over will win people over. I don't know
how many people I know who use Outlook simply because they use it at work.

Oh that will be AWESOME! Thanks! I hope they make sure it works perfectly
before it is released to the public. If there are any updates for it, I hope it
won't cancel out old appointments and tasks.

Summary: A Calendar for Mozilla Thunderbird → A integrated Calendar for Mozilla Thunderbird
I don't want a calendar in my mail client. For me, at least, this feature would
just add bloat to a program which already has an unreasonably large memory
footprint.

I'd be fine with a toolbar button that launches a separate program though. I
just don't see the value of having it as part of the same main window.

See bug 414536.
This is essentially bug 401779, and that is more alive then this bug. Duping.
