As Open Document becomes an ISO standard it is going to be picked up and used by
many people. It is safe to say that many applications are going to support this
format and so should Thunderbird. The possibility to read and write Opendocument
files within Thunderbird (Reading also in Firefox) would also strengthen
Opensource community.
