Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.0.7 Currently there are only two options for received return receipts for messages - they can be kept in the Inbox or moved to Sent folder. It should be more flexible - user should be able to select any folder he/she wishes for the incoming receipts. This should of course happen per e-mail account if global inbox is not used. Reproducible: Always

Can't you set up a filter for this?

Andy C brandt - would a filter be acceptable ?
I think a filter is doable, but I would also like to see this implemented plus a few more. In short: - Option to place all return receipts (for all accounts) to a global folder. - Option to select a ruturn receipts folder per account. - Allow that folder to be any folder and not only Inbox or Sent. - An option similar to the 'Place replies in the folder of the message being replied to' option in the 'Account Settings' dialog -> 'Copies & Folders' settings of each account. Voting for it..

P.S.: The prob form me is that a normal filter is not enough because different e-mail-apps use (in dif langs) dif strings and sometime there is an *Spam* before ... (Example: Gelesen / Empfangsbestätigung / Return Receipt / Read / ...)
