I never know whether a mail has been sent or not as thunderbird keeps copying mail into sent-file until aborted. I then get the message, that my mail has not been sent, which usually is not true, but you never know. This bug appears when thunderbird has been running for a while and disappears for a while after a new start. Makes thunderbird quite unreliable though.

confirmed - I get this too.
maria, what imap server are you using out of interest? I get this for one of my accounts, but not another, very strange, and amazingly annoying.
