315412 - Thunderbird hangs when I attempted to paste a large block of text

I copied a file an attempted to paste it in the outgoing email window.  Both of my computers (I obtained the same result on two computers) exhibited the same behavior:  after clicking on "paste" the text did not paste and the window appeared to freeze; when I attempted to X out, the message that the program is not responding appeared.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Copy a large word-processing file
2.  Open a compose window in TB
3.  Try pasting a large block of text in the message body

Actual Results:  
The block did not paste and the program appeared to be non-responsive.  After trying to X out, the message appeared stating the program did not respond

It never crashed, did it? It just hung for a long time, which could just be because it's very slow to paste a large amount of text in.

normally (at least for me) because of spell check

Confirming the hang. Bug 298297 and bug 240307 are probably very related to this.

Confirming the bug with a text file of 65 Ko pasted on the email composition window (version 1.5 (20051201) fr). 
When I tried to close the window, ten minutes later, the text appeared (coincidence ?). Now the text is in the window, but switching from another window to this window is taking several seconds (Same text in an text editor doesn't produce this little hang).

Very annoying bug.
