Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.right click 2.select "Save Image As" 3.An extra extension of ".jpe" is added to the image file. 4.Even if I erase the extension it is applied in the saved result. Actual Results: The files were saved as ????????.jpg.jpe Expected Results: An image file should be saved as ????????.jpg This just started within the last week.

Just uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and there is no change in the problem. 11/10/05. Saving Image As still adds ".jpe" to the end of the regular .jpg extention.
Reporter, please answer the questions from bug 241639 comment 2.
