When viewing the list of cookies, one sees some from dodgy-ads.com. Removal is easy: delete. But from this list I want to block these cookies, which is currently fiddly. Open the list all the way to see the text, copy the text, close boxes, Click Exceptions and paste into there. Please could the paste-this-into-exceptions be just a right-click away?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I agree, the currently cookies GUI is still clunky. You need to tick and untick a box when you just want to block more cookies from a domain.

We should replace the tick box for removing cookies with a button called 'block site' (or similar) alongside the 'remove cookie' / 'remove all cookies' buttons. It's much clearer what it does,

I can't believe this isn't a dup, but I can't find another bug in amongst all the other cookie bugs.
See also bug 299052 - the suggestions I made in the previous comment remove the ambiguity surrounding the 'remove all cookies' button when the checkbox for blocking removed cookies is ticked.

We may want to consider allowing people to select multiple cookies when doing remove/block.

I'd rather say it is "counter-intuitive". Very much. People go to check the cookies since they might have problems with particular site. For example, I even didn't considered that it is possible to manage cookies from any other place - since that window apparently has all I need for management.
This is a good suggestion. Surprising to see it is unsolved since 2005.
Repeat request: please add to the GUI right-click > Block cookies from this domain.

Thank you.
Better: GUI right-click > Add to Exceptions.

Then, in "Exceptions," one could either block or allow.

The old cookies UI is gone but this is actually a pretty decent suggestion.

Hi Johann and everyone,
Could I try to implement this, please? I will investigate the code, but I may need some guidance.

Summary: Site Data Manager should allow right-click Add To Exceptions → Site Data Manager should allow (right-click) Add To Exceptions
Severity: normal → S3
