IMAP-only. Certain replies to threads in the preview pane do not show the "Re:" in the subject column. However, the full headers show Re:, mail body windows show it and so do other IMAP clients.

I think Thunderbird is not parsing RE: (all caps) when displaying the subject in the message list pane. It displays Re: (mixed) just fine. Other messages I have with this problem seem to back this theory up.

Appears to be a dupe of bug 287271 (see also bug 311164).
