User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 On installation I asked it to import settings from Eudora. My anti-virus found a virus in one file and segregated it. The import settings abended at this point. I tried to re-import, it told me it had completed (it had not, many folders are missing). I uninstalled it via Add / Remove programs. When I reinstalled it still had everything from the previous installation. I am now unable to use your product because I cannot get what I need from Eudora. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Obvious from description above. 2. 3.
Mails/settings are stored in your profile folder. Remove it, and you should be able to start over. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder#Thunderbird. If that fixes it for you, resolve this bug as worksforme.
dupe of bug 116443? (which bug 229235 was duped to)
Well, at least it's a dupe of bug 229235. Hard to say if bug 116443 actually resolved that too... Reporter: if it's still a problem with 2.0 release candidates, feel free to reopen that bug. <http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/nightly/2.0.0.0-candidates>
