User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Detaching an attachment will show the following pop-up text: "The following attachments have been successfully saved and will now be permanently deleted from this message: <filename> This cannot be undone. Do you wish to continue?" What cannot be undone? The wording suggests the whole operation. Better would be: "The following attachments have been successfully saved: <filename> They will now be permanently deleted from this message: This cannot be undone. Do you wish to continue?" Actually, answering no would effectively turn the Detach operation into a Save As, which is kind of weird. So conceptually even better might be to ask this question before the whole operation, or not ask it at all. Just don't delete the attachment from the message if the save didn't succeed. Reproducible: Always

Me too! Easy enough to fix, improves user comprehension of a part of the program that is particularly confused (and prone to UI bugs), so why not?

I disagree: I think is clear enough... but Ludovic can answer better than me: could be wont fix or assigned to simon paquet (or others)?

There's no real reason to involve localizers in this as this is a UI decision.
