(Whiteboard: [nsbeta3-])

I would like to see Mozilla print the page title, URL, and date and time of print job on each page, somewhat like Netscape Win32 does.

Your handling kind of print issues correct?

Putting on [nsbeta2+][5/16] radar. This is a feature MUST complete work by 05/16 or we may pull this feature for PR2.
Whiteboard: [FEATURE] → [nsbeta2+][5/16][FEATURE]
Is there any support in the current printing subsystem to enable us to provide this feature? I'd heard that there was (or would be) some interface that could be used to provide this kind of information so that it would appear on the page. I searched for nsI.*Print and nsI.*Page and didn't see anything.
Move to M19 target milestone.

Putting on [nsbeta2-] radar. Removing 5/16. Did not make the netscape 6 feature train. Please move to MFuture.

Changing nsbeta2 keyword to nsbeta3, per verah@netscape.com comment.

For this bug to get completed.. it might take 2 or more weeks. We would have to put in support for Postscript (unibyte code), Windows and Mac. It also means layout of the page would have to be changed, or considered. Also a way to communicate the name of the page and URL to the print job. Does this happen on a platform specific basis or with HTML. Does this effect margins.. or is this put in a standard place. There are alot of issues to consider and this is a feature (which were supposed to be completed Pre-Beta 2 close). I dont think this is just something someone can say they would like to see and put it into beta3.
Marking nsbeta3-.

Any idea where this bug sits? It's been stale and I tripped over it today.

Is this fix checked in rods? Is there any customisation features, say you wanted custom messages to appear in the header and/or footer?
How does this fix work (you may take a look at bug 67096) ? Unix for example needs to pass the "job title" to the /usr/bin/lp program using the -t option (this is bug 6810) and X11 print system has it's own way to do this...
