Both FF and TB active processes, but TB disappeared in Taskbar. Have also seen the reverse where FF disappears from Taskbar, but process is still active. Can sometimes revive missing TB or FF to Taskbar by switching to the other window or maximizing the other window.
Using Win XP Pro, SP2. Up-to-date on fixes.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Happens with casual use and fairly frequently (like several times daily).
Looks like my bug report is a dupe of # 246531 (see comments there).
As I seemed to remember, this problem has been around for quite a while. Apparently unresolvable Windows problem? In my case, I had only FF window and TB window open. No tabs. No other apps running. After browsing in FF for a while noticed TB missing in taskbar, but TB process still running. Jim M

Then you should have marked it as a dupe.
