Inconsistent sets of terms are used for fonts in the UI. "Variable width" and "Fixed width" seem to be used everywhere except in Tools > Options > Display > Fonts > Fonts, where "Proportional" and "Monospace" are used.
For a lot of newcomers to TB, the font settings are confusing enough without two sets of terms being used. Please use just one set of terms (whichever is easier for average users to understand) and stick to it throughout the UI.
