For those curious, the new build size of a VC7.1 cairo build with the vc7.1 libraries is:
5162343 firefox-1.6a1.en-US.win32.installer.exe

This ends up being 4.92MB in the IE download dialog.

I'll do new numbers with VC8 tomorrow.

everyone is on board at this point. we're going to turn on as soon as we get all the old VC6 tinderboxes set up with --enable-default-toolkit=windows so that they'll continue building non-cairo until they can be updated by the build team.
