My bookmarks are gone. I searched for them and cannot find them. 

you created this great product, but then as soon as i installed your recent update, which was encouraged by a pop-up window that was sent by mozilla, the whole thing falls apart!

why did you do that? why wouldn't you be sure things are ready before you go around telling us to update?

this sucks!

another problem is the browser window jumps intermittantly, this is also a new and annoying feature that was not available before the update.

From what version did you update?
From 1.5 there are daily bookmark backups created in your profile.
Type %appdata% in you Run box and in Mozilla search for the folder bookmarkbackups.
The bouncing window cound be Bug 247116, also sometimes caused by a non-default theme.

I found the clue for resolving the bug from a thunderbird person who was helping me fix a bug i'm dealing with there. 

i have resolved the issue.
