User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 If I try to create a new date in the mutliweek view nothing happens. I tried it in several ways: With doubleclick, with context menu or with menu. I use the latest nighty build (20060224) Reproducible: Always
Works for me. (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060224 Mozilla Sunbird/0.3a1+) Do you see any errors in the JavaScript console?
I think the attached error belongs to Bug#328504
You have written in Bug 328504 Comment #11 that you still can't create events. It also works fine for me with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060225 Mozilla Sunbird/0.3a1+. So please give more details: What does not happen for you? No new event dialog pop up? Or after event creation the event is not shown in multiweek view? Is the event shown in day/week/month view or event/task list? Can you create a new event in day/week/month view? Does it happen for every event? Or do you need special event settings like recurrence? Do you use a storage or ics calendar? Local or remote calendar? Does it happen if you start Sunbird with a new profile? ...
Another question: Do have the calendar enabled to be visible? Look at the calendar tab if the checkbox is marked. Otherwise you can create events as you like - they will be created but not shown in the views.
First of all I use external ics files. And yes they are visible. Now the problem: I want to create a event or a task with three different methods: 1.By Doubleclick in the multiweek or the month view 2.With context menu in the multiweek or the month view 3.In the menu in the multiweek or the month view all this tries don't work. When I change into the day or into the week view and hold the left mouse button down, and scroll down with the mouse, a new event is created. I can also modify this event.
After setting 'Default alarm setting' is set to 'Off' it works again. Confirmed by reporter in external discussion. Duplicate of Bug 328754. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 328754 ***
