It just shows a thin grey band where the header should be, but it won't open. CTRL-U still works to view the message source, so it is still there, just not showing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. view a message with or without preview 2. notice no ability to view header 3. Actual Results: ability not there Expected Results: ability there
Not totally conclusive, but it may be working again now with the newer version which just came: version 2 alpha 1 (20060330) (But even so, it still WAS a bug. What was the fix?)

I can confirm the missing header band on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20060330 Thunderbird/2.0a1 ID:2006033015
Could this be related to Bugzilla Bug 331924 message header view cleanup?

Does this problem occur in a new profile?
Still seems to WFM with version 2 alpha 1 (20060403), but I'll leave open in case someone else still has issues and mine is the anomaly.
i fixed this regression. Folks that still have this problem are usually using extensions like enigmail which aren't compatible with the changes we made.
