Details

User-Agent: Opera/8.54 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) Build Identifier: version 1.5.0.2 (20060308) Thunderbird spellchecker thinks Firefox is misspelled Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable spell checking (English/United States) 2. Write "Firefox" or "firefox" into a new message window 3. See "Firefox" underlined 4. Press CTRL+K 5. Laugh at the suggestion "Firebox" Actual Results: Laughter. Expected Results: Seeing no underline in the correctly spelled word Firefox. Suggestion to change "firefox" to "Firefox" not firebox.
There is also no Thunderbird in the dictionary. I thought it's free of names (which i consider a good thing), but it knows Microsoft Outlook Netscape Miranda Minefield ;-) strange. Is the dictionary the one from OpenOffice?
The dictionary is from OpenOffice http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org/spell_dic.html It is not unusual for product names not to be included in dictionaries and last I checked OpenOffice wasn't in it either.
