The Alt-D hotkey leads to show the help menu ("Ai_d_e" in french) where it should take me to the adresse bar usually (in other languages and in windows plateform too). I can't even change it with keyconfig extension :( My suggestion is that you change the hotkey for the help menu from Alt-D to Alt-I (unused). Thanks for all french geeks in advance!! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch firefox in french language 2. Select Alt-D hotkey 3. Actual Results: The "Aide" menu shown up Expected Results: Permit me to edit the adress bar
workaround: use ctrl-L related: bug 337329
Component: Menus → fr-FR / French
Product: Firefox → Mozilla Localizations
(In reply to comment #1) > workaround: use ctrl-L > related: bug 337329 > Thanks, I wan't aware of this. But I switch from windows to linux every day and I really don't want have to learn two hotkeys for the same thing
Hi again, so I just wanted to know if you will change the shorcut to the Help menu from _d_ to _i_ (no more conflicts) or will you mark this as wontfix ? Regards, Mehdi

This was already fixed in 1.5.0.3 (bug #334954), please keep your copy up to date. Marking WORKSFORME. A major reorganization of accesskeys in the main window is pending to avoid further conflicts btw.
