Sunbird offers these additional view options, and it's trivial to implement them in Lightning as well.  This is a nice win for corporate clients, since it gives them a 'work-week view' with just a few clicks of the mouse.  Note that 'tasks in view' won't really work until bug 157274 is fixed for day/week views.

All the stuff in the views to support this already exists, due to Sunbird, so we just need to expose it to Lightning users.  I'll file a follow-up to expose the preferences for particular days off.
