As it stands, bookmarks are necessarily given a last visited date of now upon creation. Although this appears correct given the normal bookmark-making channels, it causes some unwanted behavior. For instance: 1. Cmd-Y 2. Drag and drop a history item from more than a minute ago into a bookmarks collection 3. Look at last visited date of resulting bookmark This will also affect pasting history items (bug 286602), and will be especially pronounced once we have the ability to make new bookmarks with blank (or arbitrary) URLs (bug 175748). When this is fixed, we should make sure we still set the last visited date to now when creating a bookmark via the Cmd-D dialog.

No reason whatsoever this should block bug 175748 (although it's still a perfectly valid bug, and will be exposed further by the fix for that one).

Fixed by bug 411338. New bookmarks now have a last visit time of "never" unless created following an actual visit (such as the command-D dialog).
