Tested on version 2 alpha 1(20060809)

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+F to launch search messages dialog.
2. Press tab or shift+tab. Neither key works.
3. Click in a textfield to make focus visible. Tab and shift+tab still won't work from there. They're being eaten.

I don't think so -- I viewed the Search Messages dialog in DOM Inspector and didn't see a tabindex attribute on any of the fields.

fix for bug 355169 checked into trunk and branch - perhaps that fixes this? (TB only, actually)
Yes, I see this problem fixed in 2b1-1004 and 3a1-1004, Win2K.
Marking Fixed due to patch for bug 355169. Odd that that more serious symptom only showed up recently.
