Google is providing the translation for chrome/browser/safebrowsing/eula.dtd.
Attached file it eula
Summary: google phishing eula translation → google phishing eula translation (it)
Is that translation mandatory?
We already translated the google EULA. The translation that you attached here is not consistent with the Firefox translation: it uses the informal first person for verbs subject, where Firefox is translated using impersonal form.
I am not a lawyer, but I imagine changes in tense are ok. If it's a bigger change than that, I'll send the differences to our translation team and see what they say.

I am attaching an EULA (1) translated with revised Italian (your translation contains repetitions and sentences that hears odd).

If your translation team doesn't accept this translation, please consider to submit them the second translation - EULA (2) - that is merely your translation transformed in the impersonal form.

Bug 350422 moved the text to web content:
http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/firefox_privacy.html?hl=it

I'm going to update the file now to use EULA (2).

I'm sorry, but I have to reopen this bug!

The original eula that you attached here contains an orthographic error (bad conjugation of a verb) and when I created the new EULA (2) with different tense I did not see the error. Now, during QA testing, an user reported the error.

I attached a new EULA (2) file corrected. The bad word is "assocerà" (line 7) that must be "associerà" (with the char "i").

Please correct this on http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/firefox_privacy.html?hl=it file.

Thank you

Not blocking the release of Firefox 2 it, IMHO.

This is a server side change that should be fixed, hopefully before we release 2.0, but it's not a blocker for the release.
No longer blocks: fx20-it
EULA (2) with correction will be pushed sometime tomorrow.
