352031 - view reverts to ALL when select all is pressed if no item is selected in list

In the main three pane display, select view 'unread' from drop down menu at top of list window.  Unread messages are then listed as expected.  Then type splat A to select all and the view will revert to 'All'.  

If you select a message in the list before doing the select all then everything works as expected, i.e. only unread messages are selected.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In the main three pane display, select view 'unread' from drop down menu at top of list window.
2.type splat A to select all
3.

Actual Results:  
All message in the folder are selected

Expected Results:  
only unread messages should be selected

This bug has existed through several recent versions.  I keep tripping over it because I regularly go to the thrash folder and delete unread messages and then move the remaining ones to an archive folder.  There is about a 1 chance in 5 that I will forget to select a message in the pane before hitting delete...
