It seems a bit redundant that a human reviewer should need to specifically deny an older version of an extension if a newer one is also in the approval queue.
Therefore, I suggest that if a developer submits an update to an add-on, and an older version of the same add-on is already in the approval queue, that older version is deleted from the queue silently. I cannot imagine any add-on developer would ever want it any other way.
