User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20070106 SeaMonkey/1.5a
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20070106 SeaMonkey/1.5a
This bug happens till the last alpha. When I send a message, with the option to leave copy of it in my «Sent» folder (o elsewhere, though) checked, I don't get anymore copy of my sent mail in that folder.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

This also happens in:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20070107 Thunderbird/3.0a1 ID:2007010703
Product and OS need to get updated, blocking trunk asked.
Regression window seems to be 2007010502-2007010600
What makes the bug even worse is that also if you 'Save' a message it does not get copied to the Drafts-folder. If you then quit Thunderbird the draft message is simply lost.
Flags: blocking-seamonkey1.5a?

I can confirm this using
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20070107 Mnenhy/0.7.4.10005 SeaMonkey/1.5a and give the Bug-Confirm.
@quicksilver: I have no editbug privileges, so can you change the Bug from Product: "Mozilla Application Suite" to "Core", the Component to "MailNews: Database" (hope thats right), Version to "Trunk" and Hardware and OS to "All".

i also see this bug on
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20070107 Thunderbird/3.0a1 ID:2007010703
thus, changing OS and HARDWARE to ALL
OS: Mac OS X 10.4 → All
Hardware: Macintosh → All

I saw this too - I don't see any mailnews changes in the regression range, however.

I'm now back to
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20070104 Thunderbird/3.0a1 ID:2007010404
which does not show the bug. The next nightly, 2007010503, already has it. Unfortunately I don't have any builds available in between to narrow down the regression window.

Tested with SeaMonkey Trunk-Builds:
2007010413 works fine
2007010422 is broken.
Bonsai-Checkin-Query for that range (2007-01-04 12:40 to 2007-01-04 22:40:
http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?treeid=default&module=all&branch=HEAD&branchtype=match&dir=&file=&filetype=match&who=&whotype=match&sortby=Date&hours=2&date=explicit&mindate=2007-01-04+12%3A40%3A00&maxdate=2007-01-04+22%3A40%3A00&cvsroot=%2Fcvsroot
Hmm, only MailNews one was Bug 365751.

Note from the dupe: The message is there on the file system, it just doesn't show.

Looks related, although not a duplicate, of bug 206408

nah, it's not related to bug 206408...I suspect the change for bug 365751 might be the cause...
