Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: 20070107 This seems to be a new problem that has come in the very recent daily builds. Sent messages do not appear in Sent folder in Thunderbird, yet are physically present in "Sent" mail file. If I check the dates on the files I can see that the msf file hasn't changed at the time the mail message was sent, but the Sent file has changed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send an email 2. Observe that it does not appear in the Sent folder 3. Look at the Sent folder in the filesystem Actual Results: Mail message does not appear in the Sent folder in the Thunderbird application, though it does appear in the Sent folder in the filesystem Expected Results: It should appear in both My Thunderbird is configured as follows: When sending messages, automatically place a copy in "Sent" folder on Local Folders.
Confirming bug on Windows XP. Regression occurred between 20070106 and 20070107 trunk builds. At first I thought it was one of the X-Mozilla-Status headers, but it's not. Regenerating the MSF file by closing Thunderbird, deleting Sent.msf, and restarting does cause the missing messages to appear. Updating appropriate fields.
