Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird version 1.5.0.9

There needs to be a way to delete messages in newsgroup without deleting all of them, especially when one is trying to get rid of porn posted on a newsgroup without having to delete all the good posts.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Get junk posting on newsgroup.
2.Try to delete it.
3.Find that there is no way to do so.
Actual Results:
Post not deleted

Expected Results:
Delete unwanted post

I just can't understand why there was never an option put in the software to delete newsgroups.
you can always kill/ignore the thread, if there aren't other good messages in the thread.
True, that you can kill or ignor, and you can even set up message filters, but it still does not get rid of the one bad post. You don't even have the option to run the filter, on the existing newsgroup postings, like you can with e-mail. I've looked for all posible long way around options and there's none.
