It's impossible to select multiple folders in the mail folder pane at the same time, making folder organisation more difficult.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a folder in the mail folder pane
2. Cmd-click (or ctrl-click depending on platform) another folder or use shift+(up/down) to try to select another folder
Actual Results:
Depending on the selection method used, either the first folder remains the only selected folder--if you use shift+(up/down)--or the second folder becomes the only selected folder--if you use cmd-click. In both cases there is only one folder selected at any time.
Expected Results:
It should be possible to select two folders in the mail folder pane. The other panes should probably reflect this by displaying nothing, in the same way they display nothing when there is no folder selected.
The reason I was looking to select multiple folders at the same time was so that I could drag a whole set of folders into another folder (specifically I wanted to make my 'Jan', 'Feb', ..., 'Dec' folders into sub-folders of my '2006' folder). It would be far easier to select a collection of folders and drag them all at once than to drag them individually.
