See this on today's commercial build on linux (2000042109) Click "Customize" View that the local panels that already exist show up blank ( bug 33237) and that the other panels do not have the arrow button to expand/close the panel listing. Clicking on the panels, like, "From Netscape" does open the listing.
I see this in Edit->Preferences also. cc:sairuh
oooh, yeah --the category tree in Prefs is busted as you said.

Changing summary from "Arrow buttons to expand/close panel listings absent" to "Twisties missing throught the app" and changing component to "XP Toolkit/Widgets: Trees" to make this an appropriate target for the DUPs that have been popping up in a number of components. Since the same problem shows up with file:/// directory listings, this must be a trees problem, not a problem of any other component.

they seem to have returned --at least in [most of] the Prefs-- as of today's opt comm bits. jrgm?
... and probably more XUL/XBL love ... twisties now appear in (most?/all?) places that they should -- mac/linux/win32 20000503nn -- if they are missing now in specific locations, please file separate bugs.
