Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2 Build Identifier: version 1.5.0.10 (20070221) Using Thunderbird in a dial-up environment. Thunderbird configured for IMAP. I have the config option set to automatically empty the trash when I close the product. Once I close Thunderbird, it's clearly still working on emptying the trash because if I disconnect from my ISP inside about a 15 second window after closing Thunderbird, Thunderbird will squalk at me about not being able to connect to my mail server. This is more cosmetic than anything, but I'd suggest that Thunderbird show some sort of dialog upon closing that it's emptying the trash, rather than giving the user the impression that it's actually closed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Delete email, which goes into trash 2. Close Thunderbird 3. Disconnect from ISP immediately. 4. Thunderbird will pop up a dialog about not being able to connect to the the mail server.
