Now that the Tb2 code is frozen, I'd like to have some Tb2 support site updates ready, prior to the release.
The Keyboard Shortcuts page page is going to require some changes. There are shortcuts for nonexistent tags. Dave, changing "Label: Important" to "Tag: Important" (and so on) are a given; but do you think there should be "Tag#6" and so on?

Lee, Tony: I need Mac/Linux confirmation for these Thunderbird 2 keyboard shortcuts:
Go to previously viewed message [
Go to next viewed message ]
Move / Copy again Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+M

How about:
"Set/Reset Tag [1 to 9] [1] to [9]
Basically how it's done for the Firefox shortcut "Select Tab [1 to 9]". Maybe "Set/Reset" isn't the best wording though.

"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3pre) Gecko/20070312 Thunderbird/2.0pre" - Build ID: 2007031203
[ and ] -- OK. Note: The "Go" menu mentions ] and [ as shortcuts for Forward and Back, which might be correct in the meaning of "forward in time" and "back in time" browser-style but IMHO run the risk of being confused with F (Forward in the list) and B (Back in the list).
Ctrl-Shift-M: moves the message, but "Edit => Undo Move Message", which is available immediately after, seems not to bring it back. (Could someone check that?)
Ctrl+Shift+M is mentioned as shortcut in the menu 'Message => Move to "<foldername>" again'.

I agree. Perhaps "Add/Remove". [0] is also a special case, and should probably get a separate entry:
Remove all tags from message [0]
Add/Remove tag [1] to [9]
Would "Add/Remove tag from message" be grammatically correct?

I guess most users wouldn't mind, but since you're asking, well, I suppose "Add/Remove tag to/from message" would be more "grammatically correct". Which of them is "better understandable" is a different question though. "Add/Remove tag" (with no mention of "message") might be better in that respect.

Confirmed on Mac OSX 10.4.8, all working as advertised!

Is there any URL to preview the list of shortcuts as planned for tb2?

No. The current page may need editing before Tb2 comes out; so I'm holding off writing a patch until then. The three additions, and change from labels to tags is all that needs to be done; so I don't see why a preview is wanted/needed.

Sorry for asking... To clarify: I am not interested in the design of the list, just the list of shortcuts themselves. Why would one want to know tb2 shortcuts in advance? Well, perhaps just curiosity, perhaps to check if or which old inconveniences have been adressed, perhaps to help find probs and improve usability... you name it! I didn't know the shortcut list of an open source sw coming release might be a secret...

It's not a secret. All changes to the page are listed in this bug page. The three additions and their wording are here for all to see and comment on.

Tb2 is coming soon, so here's a patch for review.

Draft1
I've just noticed that I didn't capitalize some words, that are capitalized every where else on the page.
