Triple click an empty area on the tabbar. If you happen to hit an area on which the close button of the newly (via double click) opened tab appears, the tab will be closed immediately.

It's unlikely that a user wants this behaviour. It's more likely that the third click was an accident. -> The tab shouldn't be closed.
