I found other places with a similar problems in recent patches checked in for bug 33451. I have a half-baked patch, but have not tested it. Perhaps, once David is done with his round of patches, I'll get rid of all native method calls (unless they're safe) in mailnews.

Junshik - that would be great, thx. I've finished and checked in everything except the mailnews/import directory. I fixed a couple easy NativeLeafName ones, but there are still some left.

Except in mailnews/import, where I worked around it, this is mostly done.

Bug 33451 comment #46 gives some thoughts there. Sounds like they should just be converted to the unicode equivalents.
