Replying to a discussion entry requires the confirmation of two warnings: one for submitting to a non-secure server and one for being redirect back to a secure one. That's obviously not the UX we want to provide and might be one of the reasons for bug 377769 comment #20.

BTW: Currently not reproducible since discussions hardly load at all (haven't been able to submit any responses for the past few days).

This seems to be a dupe of bug 376567, which I fixed recently, but I don't think production was pushed since.

As for discussions not loading, is there another bug out there? I get many connection resets at the moment too when I try to reach AMO, but for me it's not discussions specific.
