header doesn't match body when switching between messages with large images

I have two message in my inbox, each with a large image (5mb). subjects are "message 1" and "message 2".

It takes a while to load "message 1", but once it does, I see the image.

if I switch to "message 2", the header area has the "message 2" headers, but the body still shows body from "message 1".

note, this is with my imap inbox which is configured for offline usage.

thoughts:

Should we be loading about:blank, or is that not being done for performance when switching between small messages?

Should we do that for large messages? (Assuming we know the message is large and not in the cache or local disk?)
Summary: header doesn't match body when switching between messages with large images → until loaded, header doesn't match body when switching between messages with large images

here's what it looks like when I've got the start page loaded and I select on of these big messages.

until the message loads, I get a half-start-page (but broken?) + half-not-sure-what (about:blank?)
