You can't drag and drop bookmark to overflowed folder on the bookmark toolbar because << button is not expanded automatically. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create bookmark folders on the bookmarks toolbar. 2. Make narrower the width of the browser until << button appears on the bookmarks toolbar. 3. Drag a favicon of the location toolbar and move mouse pointer to << button. Actual result: Nothing happened. Expected result: Overflowed folders appear and can drag a bookmark and drop to the folder. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007072621 Minefield/3.0a7pre Original Japanese report in Bugzilla-jp is http://bugzilla.mozilla.gr.jp/show_bug.cgi?id=5141 .

This is a dupe of bug 383067 I guess.

Bug 383067 is separate in that it is concerned with opening the overflow menu and dragging a folder from that menu to somewhere else. This bug is concerned with dragging a bookmark from somewhere else into the overflow menu. Confirming on windows, 2008030305 nightly

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
