Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20060601 Firefox/2.0.0.6 (Ubuntu-edgy) Build Identifier: Firefox/2.0.0.6 (Ubuntu-edgy) && Thunderbird : version 2.0.0.6 (20070728) When I middle click a link in Thunderbird nothing happens. When I middle click a link in Firefox, it opens a new tab. When I left click a link in Thunderbird, it opens a new tab. When I left click a link in Firefox, it opens a new window, or whatever the link specified. I suggest that these things are made to be the same in both programs. When I left click a link in Thunderbird, I want it to be opened in a new firefox window, if I middle click it, then it needs to be opened in a new tab. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get mail with link 2. Middle-click link 3. Left-click link (steps two and three show the difference) Actual Results: Middle-clicking doesn't create a new tab. Left-clicking creates new tab while a new window is desired. Expected Results: Middle-clicking should open a new tab. Left-clicking should open a new window. I'm not sure about the severity level... While it is not a very important bug, it does impede on working efficiently, and since there is no easy work around, I left that level on normal. So, don't be too annoyed when you think it should be something else, cause that's my reasoning.
