User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727) Build Identifier: 2.0.0.9 (20071031) I just downloaded Thunderbird for the first time. But I won't use it until it gets the "Outlook Bar" feature that Outlook Express has. I find it extremely useful to have the large icons that I can drag emails to. The current "Favorite" or "Recent" folder views don't work for me because the icons are not large, and, because I want the large icons present at the same time as the full folder list so I don't have to toggle which folder view I want all the time. Thank you for listening. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: N/A Actual Results: N/A Expected Results: N/A N/A

Duplicate of bug 275971 -> bug 248233 -> bug 245677?
I've started using the "QuickFolders" Add-on, and it's a pretty close substitute for what I requested, so I'm pretty happy with that.
Severity: normal → S3

Outlook Express is long gone and unusable nowadays and https://quickfolders.org/ seems indeed like a good suggestion for this use case.
