I'd like the ability to forward an E-mail i've received to an address group, but to exclude the original sender if they are part of that address group.

For example, Joe sends me an E-mail. It's worth sharing and i'd like to forward it to an address group i have already set up. However, Joe is part of that address group and i'd like to be able to exclude him from my send list without having to modify the address group. It makes no sense to forward the message back to Joe as he's the one that sent it to me. Forwarding in this case works differently than replying or replying all.

Can Thinderbird be taught to recognize this situation and not forward the E-mail to the original sender? I for one would like this ability and think it's an essential feature of any mail server. You can't even begin to imagine how many times people have replied to me asking me why i forwarded the message to them when they were the one who sent it to me originally.

I am so happy to finally see that there's now some hope that this problems will be fixed. I believe this enhancement will only make your product that much more attractive to it's users.

Duping this. Once bug 119977 is done, you just expand the list and remove whoever you need.
