Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121120 Firefox/3.0b2
Even if browser.tabs.warnOnClose is set to true and I have multiple tabs open, I never get notified if I close Gran Paradiso.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open multiple tabs (one with google and the other with wikipedia)
2. Hit the X in the upper-right corner to close the browser
Actual Results:
Closes Gran Paradiso without a warning that there are multiple tabs open.
Expected Results:
A cancel/close notification.
I have TabMixPlus installed as an add-on, but it is automatically disabled in Gran Paradiso because of incompatibility.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008011600 Minefield/3.0b3pre
I get the Quit Minefield (Firefox) dialog: Save and Quit, Quit or Cancel.
I don't see the dialog if I have Firefox set to show the tabs and windows from last time when it starts.

I've just recently started seeing this problem myself on Firefox 3 Linux Beta 3. See my Ubuntu Forums post here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=4590327#post4590327
I found a workaround: browser.warnOnQuit is set to false. Changing it to true fixes the problem for me.

Looking at several bugs (bug #386067, bug #433123, bug #422040, bug #419009), it seems that not everybody is comfortable with the semantics of browser.warnOnQuit and browser.tabs.warnOnClose. I wonder if decoupling them a little more and giving them the semantics I describe in bug #384907 comment #21 would be a step in the right direction. Any thoughts?
