add NetVibes to RSS Reader default list as it's available in Swedish. Possibly remove My Yahoo as it's not available in local language and not popular with Swedish users. Awaiting some recommendations on other search engines. For ecommerce: swap eBay for Tradera (local version of eBay) and most popular

Search plugins will be handled in bug 415837, but here is a patch to make the list of RSS readers be: Netvibes Google MyYahoo (en) We decided that there were no harm in keeping MyYahoo for those who prefer that service, even though it's in English. It seems the ordering in UI is done as 1,0,2, hence the odd sorting of the entries in region.properties.

Filed bug 416005 on that ordering thing. I'll try to get some feedback before actually reviewing this patch.
Comment on attachment 301696 [details] [diff] [review] readers patch r-, according to bug 416005, the lack of ordering is actually a bug, and will be fixed. So we should keep the numerical order here, so it will look right once bug 416005 is fixed.

Comment on attachment 301959 [details] [diff] [review] patch v2 >Index: region.properties >+browser.contentHandlers.types.2.title=MyYahoo (en) >+browser.contentHandlers.types.2.uri=http://add.my.yahoo.com/rss?url=%s The name everywhere else is "My Yahoo" with space. I think it would be best to just remove the "(en)" and be consistent with the other locales unless you think it's important to differentiate. r=me with those addressed.

Yes, sorry about that. Fixed. > I think it would be best to > just remove the "(en)" and be consistent with the other locales unless you > think it's important to differentiate. Well, we think it's helpful to the user to indicate that one of the services is in English. The l10n guidelines for Fx3 also seems to require this. http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox3/L10n_Requirements#General So I think we will keep that. Checking in region.properties; /l10n/l10n/sv-SE/browser/chrome/browser-region/region.properties,v <-- region.properties new revision: 1.20; previous revision: 1.19 done

VERIFYING with en-US defaults for protocol handlers, i.e., yahoo mail for mailto and 30 boxes for webcal, reference is http://hg.mozilla.org/users/axel_mozilla.com/l10n-src-verification/index.cgi/file/d2f8b1558dfc/reference/HEAD/sv-SE/. If there are opportunities to add protocol handlers for Sweden, we can do that on upcoming 3.0.x releases. Please file individual bugs on that and CC Mic and me, thanks.
