Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.9 (20071031) When replying to an email from "Address B" where "Address B" matches an identity on the account, the message has its "to:" field set to "Address A" where "Address A" is the "to" address of the original message and also the other identity on the account. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an account that receives mail at some address (A) and add an identity with some other address (B) 2. Receive email to: (A) and from (B) 3. Reply to the message Actual Results: The compose window has the to field set to address (A), which is not the sender of the original message but the recipient Expected Results: The to field should be populated with the address of the sender of the original message, address B The "Address A" referred to above is the "default identity" configured for the account. Also, I can delete and recreate the identity with "Address B" as many times as I want. If the identity exists, the above buggy behavior manifests, as soon as I delete the identity, it works again.
I've read through all the bug reports that mention "reply" or "identity" in the summary and non are duplicates, although this bug and some of the others may share the same root cause.
